Repeat Prescriptions
- 48 hours notice is required for repeat prescriptions
- Requests for repeat prescriptions can be made by person at reception.
- By Fax or Post
- Telephone requests are for the housebound and out of area only
There is so much waste and remember if anything is taken back to the Pharmacy it has to be destroyed and cannot be reused.
Test Results
- Patient are requestd to telephone the surgery for results after 2pm.
- Blood results take about a week.
- X-rays can take up to three weeks.
Home visits
- Please try to attend the surgery if at all possible. If you are too ill to come to the surgery please telephone before 10.30 am.
Dealing with an Emergency
An emergency is a critical or life threatening situation.
Examples:
- Unconsciousness
- Heavy Blood Loss
- Suspected Broken Bones
- Suspected Heart Attack
- Difficulty Breathing
- Stab Wound
